Paddle 4 Pulmonary Power

This year we are replacing the Paddle for Pulmonary Power event scheduled for August 7, 2011, with a substitute event to be scheduled for a date in the cooler Fall weather.

The tentative plan is to produce a Disc Golf event. Our honorary chairwoman and proponent of lung health, Kirby Lecy, is enthused about the change and committed to this fun event. Together we will put together a family fun event for all that highlights gentle aerobic activity and promotes clean air.

Look forward to future announcements.

For those who had planned on supporting CFPals programs at the August 7th event, we thank you for support and ask that you redirect your attention to the disc event.

This summer I plan to focus on patient services and will take the completed Joy Boxes (almost done with 11) full of games and activities to Pulmonary Departments in hospitals in Western and Central Massachusetts.

As always your contributions and volunteer time go directly to these services to patients.

Donations to CFPals are made on line at www.CFPals.org through the ‘Donate  Now’ button or by check made out to CFPALS, Inc. , 1 South Main St. Orange, Ma 01364.

On behalf of those who struggle to breathe thank you for your interest and support of our all volunteer program.

Best Regards,
Jeanie Miller
